is that test for the DB levels are done by them or is that for us to test?

because my mate wants to come with his rota, but has a screamer pipe....

he reckons if they it will past the test with the 5k hold & the other one....

but if Marulan does the test & then he goes on the track can they kick him off??

Hey jack, they have a sound sensor at the track that will pick up the noise as we're racing...If his car sets the sensor off then they kick him off the track....the test they gave is so that you can see whether you'll be at risk to save you from organising to come down etc only to get kicked off the track

If anyone wants some old tyres to use for the track I've got my old Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tyres in 215/45/18 in the garage...not sure if they will last the drive down, the track day, and the drive back but if anyone is interested let me know. I was going to use these for the track day but now have a set of track wheels I'm borrowing so will throw these out if no one wants to use them!

Hi guys i'll be driving back from Brisbane the day before I'm wondering if this would top of a nice holiday, I have looked at the website and cant seem to find rules other than the exhaust level

Do we need extinguisher fitted and whatnot? also although I'm not 100% keen on this.... missus wants to know if she can be a passenger(i guess thats to see if i get the yes or not).

think you just need a helmet which they can provide. my car is pretty much standard road car. no extinguishers no cages and its allowed. so i would naturally assume yours would be fine to take around.
also passengers are allowed as far as i know as i plan to ride shotgun in some 'better' cars

Yes you should definitely do this! No you dont need an extinguisher but I can confirm this. You can pick up cheap ones though. And yes passengers are definitely allowed as long as they have their own helmet.

/ do you need/want more people as i can probs get a friend or two interested

I posted it somewhere in here but I think all they need is a helmet, I can double check this though.

And we have 17 paid deposits, so if you wanted to invite a friend or two that would be fine

UPDATE

OK everyone, we have 18 drivers confirmed with paid deposits. This means per driver the cost is $2,520 divided by 18 = $140. We are expecting to have 20 drivers on the day but some of the drivers cannot confirm until later. I will refund everyone on the day for any extra amounts based on extra drivers, e.g. if we end up getting 20 drivers everyone who paid $140 in total will get a $14 refund.

Here is how it is going to work in a nutshell:

Everyone who has already paid their deposit will need to pay me $115 by 1st of August. Please PM me if you need my bank details again.

If you want to wait until closer to the 1st of August in case we get some extra drivers confirmed, this is obviously totally fine

lol I took a screenshot then forgot to paste it now I've lost it and cbf to log in to internet banking again. Just lemme know when it clears from Sujoy. I put a reference as track day or something.
