Bruce, your running the AVO TMIC right???

Which hose is giving you the issue???

Have had the AVO and now the Perrin, no issues with hoses popping off.

I am running the AVO, but have had the neck extended as initially it was deemed too short and was popping the hose off.

The hose continually popping is the intercooler to throttle body hose at the intercooler side.

Hopefully something can be done.

Are you using the OEM hose??? I used mine and didn't have to trim it either.

Did they bead the neck when they extended it?

I found most aftermarket hoses were too stiff....which could be the reason why they pop off so easily.

Have you doused the area with soapy water to check for bubbles/leaks?

Something I'm researching for future improvements to my car is using "O" rings for any induction piping.
So many issues with leaks...
I was wondering why Wiggins clamps are so awesome, basically it's the use of "O" rings to seal the joins, so why not use very thin "O" rings to help seal silicone etc. piping against clamps, 1 rings per clamp.

Could be a possibility.

There are better clamping options out there.

Not sure if a bead was done on the extension.

It was extended and inch or so from memory..

It's currently being held together with a fairly wide spring clamp.

Im only running 7.5psi and they have been on for over a year with no problems. The standard ones kept blowing off.
You guys are running massive boost, so different needs.The Murray clamps do look good.

I thought the boost leak was fixed by springy (tmic hose was loose) and then kido did another tune while he was still in melb?

Just to clarify this from my perspective, I diagnosed the boost leak while I was in Melbourne... along with the current boost leak from 3 road logs over the weekend so the running rich issue has actually been a mechanical problem and nothing to do with ANY tune. If air escapes from the system, even 10% of the total airflow then you will find an 11.2:1 AFR dump pipe target will drop to 9.5:1. From a gas flow dynamics point of view, 10% loss on 15+psi is more than viable

I was/am confident in my MAF scalings being right, so needing to modify the MAF scaling alerted me to a potential boost issue... I think that with a fixed boost leak you will find the trap speeds of my VF52 tunes speak for themselves

Edito: working of 3500lbs (prolly too heavy)+ 250lbs for Bass straiener and some operating fuel then subtracting 50lbs for the money that has come out of his wallet to get the car to this stage to come up with a weight of 3700lbs, and a driveline loss of 55 kw, another figure I found on the internets this contraption should do 13.5 at 105.
Would love to see it go faster of course.
