Drivers floor mat carpet issue

Postby chanham » Fri Jul 13, 2012 12:06 am

Hi all,

the floor mat holder has been torn out of the carpet by the pervious owners, and all that remains the in the holder (black plastic hook) and a hole in the carpet. Within the carpet in a hole where it seems that there was a holder or somthing else. there is just a square hole underneath. anyone know of a part to hold that hook in place or a diy fix? the carpet sliding around is giving me the shits!

That hook needs to be able to rotate so don't go trying to glue it down or anything

Sorry that's about as much as I can help.

Nope, those mats have been sitting on a shelf in my garage for the last 5 years. I put the rubber mats in instead, much more practical! :D

Ric

do your mats have the silly rubber/ vinyl heel piece?
if not i'd be interested in a set without that bit
