Rome I'm not going to debate you on the forum. You and I live in different world's it would appear, and I'm over debating with people who've not achieved anything in the area.

I'll only tell you I've done something very similar and have a similar result.

The package outlined is good and is all inclusive for the result being requested by the OP.

You can however pick a selection of those parts and get them supplied and installed and tuned for very close to the OPs budget and still get the 200kw result.

The list that coyote posted will not be under $5,000 new including install, it might scrape through with used parts on the list and a remote tune as opposed to a more expensive dyno tune. The VF52, AVO TMIC, Phat DP and an ECU Tune is close to $4k alone...

I will have a dyno sheet off a roller dyno, Springy Motors, on Thursday evening and as always it will be placed on here for critique and debate.

I'll be waiting to see your dyno result when you're done. Shouldn't be too far off.

From coyote's list I would say it's all inclusive as things like the wideband are probably not required for the average joe as not many seem to care what their car is running post tune etc.

Essentials would only be the VF52, TMIC, Prodrive 3 port, fuel pump, turbo inlet pipe, dump pipe. Maybe injectors.

The OP has a CBE and CAI.

There are cars on the forum with the VF46 and similar items to the above with over 190kws at the wheels on a roller dyno.

I don't have problems with other people's opinion. I like to hear alternatives but most of your's are out of reach or excessive for members and limited budgets.

personally i have a good laugh at people who pay for installation on even the most basic components like TMIC replacements, fuel pumps, dump pipes etc... so much money can be saved by just doing shit yourself.. i know not everyone has mechanical skills, but seriously, this stuff aint hard..

as we are all throwing opinions around.. here is mine..

do suspension first.. as has been mentioned, chasing numbers generally doesnt bring happiness.. straight line speed gets boring REALLY quickly.. taking corners at stupid speeds...DOESNT..

i would say do brakes next.. but lets face it, the brakes on these cars are pretty damn good from factory.. you dont NEED brembos for street speeds so unless you are tracking it, they are pretty much just wank factor.. get some decent rotors and good quality pads and you will be laughing..

after suspension and brakes, what money you have left over i would spend on power.. whatever you do, leave money for a good tune.. driveability and useable power is ALWAYS more important that outright power..

oh.. one thing i almost forgot.. decent tires... so many people invest heaps in their suspension, brakes etc.. then buy shitty tires.. the next WRX, EVO or Liberty i see driving around on linglongs or similar shit will be abused..

No you don't like to hear alternatives, and people who have seen your posts know this, as soon as people make suggestions other than a vf52 for a car comments from you such as "unless you have more money than brains" get thrown around.

My suggestion was not excessive and it was within budget so don't know what you're on about.
