Hello everyone,
Just got a quick question about my newish clutch that I hope someone can help me with. I got my clutch replaced about 2 months ago and since replacement there has been shuddering on take off. It's not major and I can only feel it when I take off with low rev, about 1500rpm, and only when the car has warmed up, after about 10 mins of driving. The clutch is perfect when cold but shuddering begins once it warms up. I did ask the mechanic about it and I was informed that the shuddering should disappear after about 2 weeks as the clutch wears in and might not be exactly aligned, if that makes sense.
I got the flywheel machined as well so could it be that it's not done properly and causing the shuddering? Now I'm not sure whether I should just wait and see if it does eventually disappear as it wears in as I am generally gentle on the clutch. Also, just one last thing, there's vibration in the clutch pedal when I press it down very lightly during driving in every gear. Does it seem like it could be a flywheel alignment/balance problem or clutch or something else? What do you guys think?
Cheers,
Matt
