Hey Bruce

COBB Intake looks pretty good.

Do you get much Induction and BOV noise?

It's fairly loud Pete and is going to take some getting used to.

I remember putting a Ram Pod on my WRX a few years ago.

It was pretty loud but i was a lot younger and loved the loud induction noises  .

You just need a really loud BOV now and you have young hoons car

BTW, when are you getting the forged pistons and full engine rebuild? :D

Yeah well I reckon I've put the pod on 20 years too late in life. :?

But will go with the flow if it get me a good result with the tune on the weekend.

I've run out of room in the engine bay and have replaced just about everything except the internals.

So for now it's just going to be working on the tune and just the maintenance.

Nothing much going on at the moment. A bit of a work in progress.

I'm currently working with Matt the KiDo Racing tuner to sort out a tune for me.

Progress has been good with only one slight niggle which should be fixed in the next map revision.

Car does feel good and logging and Learning View gives it a clean bill of health.

Will post some results etc soon when the tune is finalised and I run it on a dyno to check everything.

Things can't be tested legally on the roads hence the dyno check.

Had the car dyno tested at Springy today.

Car needed a little tweaking of the tune to get the AFR's spot on.

Was then run up to produce a power figure of 202.6kw at 16psi.

I'll drive it for a little while to see how the car and I like it before increasing the boost slightly to 18 or 19 psi.

I'll post up the graphs shortly.

Basically the AFR's and OL fueling target were not being met.

The car was running very rich in OL and whilst timing etc was good and the target boost tables were smooth etc the car was still richer than anything the wideband sensor could read.

Danny from Springy leaned out the OL fueling and tidied a little AVCS bump in the previous tune. I think timing was also adjusted in some cells to further smooth out the power curve.
