Only reason I looked for a forum was to see if there was a way to get an AUX port (quite surprised it doesn't come with one). Looks like I've come to the right place! SO MANY THREADS!

Hi Simon, Welcome! While looking at Lib's before I purchased I looked into that in case I couldn't find one with an AUX port. I found some web pages that explained how to do the mods one of the circuit boards in the McIntosh system, I can try searching for them later for you?

Note the McIntosh systems before MY07 were different, and don't support a direct AUX in.
It is possible, but requires a dummy external CD changer. See: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=16196

I thought I'd need one of those advancedice units (http://www.advancedice.com.au/products2/Subaru/15006).

Also just got my rear parking sensors, going to attempt to install them this weekend... pray it doesn't end in tears! It comes with a LCD display (distance, etc), but I'm unsure how to go about pulling it through the car so it sits ontop of the rear view mirror. Any ideas?

Also the removing bumper part, but I'm sure I can find that using the search.

Yes please give an update and photos on that, thinking I might install them as well but I dont want the display just the sound. Did you get black ones, colour coded ones or paint some yourself?

Got the silver one off these guys (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110804420684?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_6757wt_953), came painted. Ordered them on tuesday, arrived this morning.



UPDATE

So I found a 12v power adapter from one of the engineers at work who gave it to me to test it.



And this is me testing it in my room where I used the drill bit that it came with to drill some holes in a cardboard box, then used the monitor to test. Pretty good!

Hi there Alex, this week I finally got around to installing the reverse parking sensors and took photos of (almost) everything I did.
