hey there,

My name is Simon and I recently (last saturday actually) just bought a 2005 Liberty GT (Premium?) with 93,000km. So far I'm loving the car! From the speed (have it when I need it) and oh man how sexy is the interior!? I could move out of room and live there, the leather and the quality McIntosh system! WOOOOT! Do not regret buying this car AT ALL!

My friend keeps bugging me to mod it but I think I want to keep it as stock. I don't really need more power as I commute on a motorbike, so that is for speed and this is more for comfort.

Some pics of my car.

Looking good Simon... Welcome to the forum.

You know by signing up that to not Mod will now be impossible!!!

I can see what you mean though why mod for speed with a car when a bike is pretty much always going to win... But you could make it in to an exception... Maybe??

Definitely nicely enough to shag on and leather is easier to clean  I'm down south in the NSW Shire.

No girlfriend, just a mate (maybe I shouldn't have said friend).

My guess is Sydney. There's no FM station at 96.9 in Melbourne. :)

Only reason I looked for a forum was to see if there was a way to get an AUX port (quite surprised it doesn't come with one). Looks like I've come to the right place! SO MANY THREADS! :P

Welcome mate. Nice car ;)

Definitely a premium - Judging by the sunroof and McIntosh 13 speaker stereo.

What's the sticker on the drivers door?

The mod bug will hit you.. eventually. Hanging round places like this makes it so much worse!!

Still on mine too.

G'day Simon,

And welcome - glad to read that you're really happy with your Lib cos, frankly, I'm really disappointed with my MY06 and almost regret buying it.

I came from an older BMW but in about the same price range and this thing just doesn't come close in just about every area.

Drives well on the dirt, though.

And if you keep hanging around on this forum, you WILL start the mods. It's like a virus.

cheers,

bj
