locating a spare 3.0 RB engine

hey guys, im just wondering what i could search for in google, etc. to find a spare/replacement engine for my car,
6 speed 3.0 rb Engine?
i know these are not just readily available but i would like to have a look just to see how much they are

have a look on Import Monster or maybe import wreckers of sorts...

SunSpares (the only that i know of) are a subaru wreckers store/shop in qld that would have one almost readily available

why the search? something not right with your engine or are you just worried?

just searching for one so i can get an idea on how much it is,
plus my car has done a few k's, not heaps, but enough to worry me a tad,
im looking to just find the price of one then save up, get one and keep it in my shed for the future basically haha

yep, its the same engine as yours.
but like we said on your other thread, with a good service history (even just with you) these engines are bulletproof (almost)

haha yeah ill take it for a service every 10,000 and i check the oil very often
i might change the oil every 5000ks aswell if you guys think it may to it good?

i get mine serviced every 10,000km

if you want, maybe do every second oil change yourself?

yeah, ill see how it goes, getting a mechanic to have a real good look over the car soon just to get everything up to my perfectionist standard :? haha

i know its an outback but it looks the exact same?

yep, its the same engine. i dont think it would matter about what transmission it is...

yep, its the same engine. i dont think it would matter about what transmission it is...

They dont care about service intervals at all. 15000km is fine if you drive it in a manner that allows long service intervals. And 3000km is too long if you drive it in a manner that requires short service intervals.

Why do you want to locate a spare?

They are readily available at any time quite easily, and there is plenty coming in, or available to come in.

Not magic wonder engine, just h6 dak dak engine
