For those asking questions about legalities, I expect it will vary from state to state, but in Queensland you're not allowed to change your rolling diameter by +15mm / -26mm compared to what is standard on that model of vehicle. There are also limitations on how much you're allowed to change your wheel track (distance between centre of the left tyre and centre of the right tyre).

Based on these, many rim/tyre combos which may be possible are actually illegal.

If the vehicle ships with stupid rubber-sprayed wagon wheels and is allowed to be sold in Australia then presumably it has met the ADR and state requirements so it's a different story to modifying a stock vehicle.

Yeah, I think in a lot of places max track increase is 25mm (12.5mm difference in offset) and decrease is not allowed at all.
