Hey jslayz - what coilovers are you running... realistically I would want coilies, but coz the missus drives it too, I don't want it too stiff...

I was looking at some hipermax ls+ but the set I looked at was rooted..

Wouldn't mind seeing how yours feels... I'll pm you when I finish my holidays..

@ Stomps:
For example BC's are a little more 'street' at 6F/8R :D
And from memory Pinks are in the vicinity of 4F/5R
And GT B Blacks are around a kilo less than Pinks.
Correct me if I'm probably wrong, the info is on this forum somewhere...

I think the main thing for me to get used to is the GT sedan mentality... the last few cars I've set up have been track oriented, no nonsense, can't hit cat's eyes let alone get up your own driveway monsters.. having to deal with limits like "I don't want it to shatter my spine" is new to me...

Also, is interesting to see heavier rear v front spring rates... must be a 4wd thing.. every other car I've owned has always run stiffer front to compensate for engine weight... I guess too heavy a front will understeer too much...

Would love a set of ohlins, but I can't spend over $3k on coilies.. especially given I've just thrown short change under $50k into house rennos.. at the moment a lot of stuff on this car will need to be done on the cheap ... at least temporarily ... possibly used coilies or just settle for billies... either that or I'll wait a bit and just get proper stuff once I get some cash back up... I think working on my mates one has just made me want to mod mine ...

lol.. given it's auto.. i doubt it...

i honestly think ill be happy with a full exhaust.. some coilovers and rims...

technically the car is still under extended warranty, so i cant really mess with power up shit yet...

Finally installed the rear sway bar today.. after having a look at the mounts, I reckon I'm gonna get better mounts ASAP..

I never really bothered looking at them when I installed my mates..

God I llove working on these cars, so easy to work on.. installing the rear bar.. 15 mins start to finish.. including jacking the car up..

I reckon I'm gonna have a chat to my parts supplier and look at basically the entire whiteline catalog (within reason).. for what you get, its bullshit cheap..

Still chasing suspension...
