I think the main thing for me to get used to is the GT sedan mentality... the last few cars I've set up have been track oriented, no nonsense, can't hit cat's eyes let alone get up your own driveway monsters.. having to deal with limits like "I don't want it to shatter my spine" is new to me...
Also, is interesting to see heavier rear v front spring rates... must be a 4wd thing.. every other car I've owned has always run stiffer front to compensate for engine weight... I guess too heavy a front will understeer too much...
Would love a set of ohlins, but I can't spend over $3k on coilies.. especially given I've just thrown short change under $50k into house rennos.. at the moment a lot of stuff on this car will need to be done on the cheap ... at least temporarily ... possibly used coilies or just settle for billies... either that or I'll wait a bit and just get proper stuff once I get some cash back up... I think working on my mates one has just made me want to mod mine ...
STI lip, Whiteline suspension goodies, KIDO tune.. more to come..
