What a shame with this car/build. It sounds like such an awesome car but also really fecking painfull. Sometimes its just a case of letting someone have a go at fixing (depending on $$$) and then just ticking if off the list and going to the next one untill you find the issue. Only concentrating on one at a time to keep frustration levels down.

Is there a complete list of mods for this car anywhere? I'd love to see that.
I can't help but think that there's a missing link somewhere in the build...

car will be staying at springy for the time being as he has other work to catch up on and we still have issues, it may be there for a while yet... this also gives danny time to think about it more and me save up money
what the issues are is unknown, a few things have helped, the main issue he's working on atm is the cars drive ability/idle, seems the ID1000 and a different maf have fixed the leaning out issue and have made it run a little better, it may have a number of things causing this problem.
Danny wants to try and get it right and not have me spend more money with other tuner/workshop going over the same stuff. his opinion is different to revzones, they wanted me to put an after market management system in it to fix it but Danny says this ecu is more than capable.

stay tuned peoples and thanks for the support guys

Small updates with still no good news on it lol

Danny has checked the valve clearances as he thought they might have been some adjustment needed do to the lower compression readings car is 115-125 so on the low side and cause we don't know the compression ratio he did a leak down test on some cylinders and said they are 3% leakage so this engine must be Lower compression.
We also got the cam numbers and some rather interesting numbers, not sure if these cams are right or a miss match I have emailed crosworth to see that they think , if anyone has any input Im listening!!

Crosworth
Intake
20004723
Ej25 Sti
277/11

crosworth
Exhaust
20004725
Ej20 wrx
268/10.2

There isn't any part numbers on there site that match mine but u can get a 278 inlet. The exhaust has a little less duration compared to the matches they have on there site, I want to know why one is ej25 and the other ej20

Why this and why that. Answer = mrt

Nuff said and hope it gets sorted for you soon. I also hope they're trying to look after you with costs in this discovery exercise
