well there is a good chance that i will be removing the entire Macintosh sound system (iv been told its very difficult to do but I'm giving it a shot!!)

and if that is a success then the head unit i will be installing will have a GPS installed anyway, plus i usually put my wallet in that centre compartment anyway..

so to answer previous YES i will be selling it!! just don't know when

Cool as, sounds like a plan! McIntosh is easy to remove, just a pain of you want to re-use the stock McIntosh amp!

I agree I prefer havin my wallet in the top compartment, and also have a double din h/u with gps so no need for navi for me :P

If you want to remove just the screen+fascia to replace the whole section with the pocket one then it just all pulls straight out. Then pop the new fascia with pocket it. If you want the whole navi out you have to remove the unit in the glove box and the aerial behind your dash cluster too.

Get a big flat head screw driver, wrap it in cloth and carefully lever the bottom of the fascia out, be careful not to damage the dash at all. The once you can grab it with your fingers pull the bottom out a bit then pull the top out and unplug the stuff on the back.
