Yes, you need larger rear disk as the OE stock 290mm rear rotor won't work.

And then you also need to decide if you are going to modify your rear handbrake shoes to suit the larger 190mm STi handbrake drum to sllow you to use any standard STi rear discs on the market, or if you'll lock yourself into DBA's specially made 170mm STi-sized rear disc (which is heavier than the STi disc).

Fitted to Brembo's.... Ive fitted these to my Outback FHI 2 pot rears, but didnt take a pic.. :roll:

Brembo also makes a 170mm adaptor rear rotor.

I will also advise that Mark's dog bones are simply better than anything on the market as you don't have to grind away metal from the hub to fit them.

Definitely. I bought Mark's dog bones for my brother's WRX caliper install on his Impreza and it fit first time. Much much less hassle.
