i havent driven the car since dyno day and today i pulled it out so i can get the fuel out of it and replace with fresh stuff. i started the car and went and moved some stuff and when i came back i could smell heaps of fuel in the cabin!! Ages ago i noticed a slight fuel smell but it went away. i popped the bonnet and found the fuel line into the rail on the drivers bank leaking under the intake tube so i pushed a screwdriver on the hose clamp and it sprayed out fuel!!! the clamp was the type that bottoms out and wont go any further, so i pulled the intake tube back and replaced the hose clamp!!! not sure if this was the issue on the dyno day as it would have smelt like fuel.

lucky no fires today....

small update???? FARK MAN! shite! lucky dude!

yeah, i smelt it a couple of times then had nothing for ages, i have a fire extinguisher in the back seat floor ready!! im going to replace all the hoses and clamps once i get it back

From what I'm reading (current issue of Zoom) you'll be upgrading everything in the fuel system if going for E85... Is that planned?

It's pretty much just injectors, fuel pump and fuel regulator, but with a car putting out power like his he might need to do a tad bit more

I feel so bad for you mate :(, so much time, effort and $$$ put into such an awesome car and it always has something go wrong. Do we blame MRT? they where the ones who built then engine right?

since buying the car there has been a fair bit done to try fix all the problems... dont think any of that would have been done for free???

GB has managed to do things on the cheap side since he purchased the car. I doubt he would have spent 1/10th of what the previous owner did.

thanks for pointing out a full rebuild turbo upgrade with supporting mods etc is more than working out a few issues with how the car is running Kieran. Not sure why you keep trying to poke away at me mate. getting a little old.

The car was brought very cheap but with known problems... It was a gamble buying it, I'm trying to get it sorted it's still cost m thousands so far, hopefully Danny can get it fixed!!!

Don't know who to blame lol I think many people get this award.
