VSS - Vehicle Speed Signal MY06 LGT-B

Postby gfennessy » Mon Jun 20, 2011 10:00 am

Hi All,

I'm looking for the Liberty VSS (Vehicle Speed Signal) wire for my MY06 wagon. Can't find it for the life of me...

I have a Sony XNV-770BT - it has speed sensitive volume control. This is the last thing I have to hook up (see my post, below...or click here.

I understand it is either a Pink/Green wire or a Green/Black wire. I have found a Pink/Green wire under the passenger glovebox, going into the ABS control box, which is where most posts suggest is the best place to tap it from...

I tried monitoring the voltage in AC wrt ground, but the voltage is constant. Presumably the output is on/off wrt ground... I have a multimeter that can measure Hertz, but if someone can confirm for me I would be grateful.

Cheers
G

it is the green/black one. Behind the fuse box, like halfway up the back of it you will find a funny looking connector, thats the OP Connector, it is pin number 5.
