I think my clutch is on the way out its not as sharp and hard as it once was and feels like it might be slipping every now and than? Any ideas on cost or anything what I can do to help etc? Or even cost to get it fixed etc

hey Nick,
I may be getting a new one soon too. Car has nearly 90k on it's original.
Will need to get someone to look at it, but I'll keep you posted. Plus we're in the same area.

Strongly recommend you talk to the Phatman.
Have just had the original clutch modified with stronger clamping by the Serge.
Serge & the Phatman have been talking as I understand our 6mt & clutches are a "bits of this & that", concocted by Subaru.
The clutch had to come out again, yesterday, as he was incorrectly given a WRX clutchplate, 1.5mm difference, but made every gearchange an absolute bitch.
No cost, as yet, as he is still negotiating with the clutch man.

Slipping? Sounds like a clutch that's giving in. It will get worse... I guess try not to drive to far or you might have to tow it back cause you won't be able to select or change gears.

You will be able to drive around with a slipping clutch for a while, just baby it around. There is nothing you can do to make it better, other than fix it properly.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

i've still got the original clutch in my car (well, to the best of my knowledge) which goes to show the car was babied around at the hands of the previous owner (middle aged man).

the only thing that feels off to me, is the shifter bushings are on the way out, or at least they need upgrading
TEAM FUNERAL HEARSE!
Only slightly modified, I swear!

Had a new clutch put in this week and the car is smoother, sharper and feels faster too! So well worth the money spent and time.
