Spotted my Wagon for the last time on Wednesday... new fourby turned up and time to hand the keys over
Only a mere 21,000km between us with not 1 issue. She will make 1 lucky new owner very happy. (untill the day brembo's and tyres need replaced )

Dealers being Dealers and all options at a cost, I decided a couple of parts were optional extras too...

I removed my Rhino Sportz roofrack (doesnt over hang the attachment point for the clean look... also flush fits to the roofrails so no clips in top of doorframe) and also my tinted Hanabi style LED tail lights (wagon lights of course). I decided to pull the LED lights out and put the stock rear ones in, so that if the new owner happened to have any tail light trouble, they'd only have to buy a bulb and not a wole new set of tail lights. God knows what a pair of oem tail lights from the dealer fetch. Havent had any issues at all with my LED's, but didnt want some poor bugger stuck without tail lights if anything did go wrong.

Oh I also have a full never fitted set of 5000k HID foglight bulbs n ballasts for 2007-2009 spec b's (GT and 3.0R-B) Includes all wiring and a relay. Dont have a use for that anymore.

I left in my 6000k led foggies in the front cos i dont have the old bulbs anymore, plus white led parkers cos theyre cheap and a pain in the ass to change. I totally forgot to get the K&n filter out of it... lol probably due for a wash now. It was cleaned once but be due again.

My led number plate and reverse and mirrored turn bulbs all fit in the new fourby Brandnew April 2012 built Ford Ranger XLT Dual cab. Its no Liberty but with a claimed 470Nm of torque it aint slouchy either (It fights the traction control when turning in 4th gear!!!).
Been a few years since I been to the dunes, cant wait. And my ZX14 Ninja keeps the raw speed alive when the need arises. Even the Liberty had no chance of catching it.

PM if you are interested (i'll let ya know a price - cos this aint exactly forsale section here) in the roof rack, HID foglight bulbs and ballasts, or Red Tinted Hanabi style LED tail lights. Just getting over surgery from a slipped disc (couldnt walk for 5 weeks - couldnt even drive for 2 before i had surgery) So im home most days, but will be back to work in about 3 weeks. I will even fit the roof rack or tail lights for anyone who takes them. The wiring isnt too difficult for the HID foggies, but i wont be lying under your car to fit em for ya sorry

Having had a stuffed back since January, the Lib was getting fairly neglected, but Surgery has all but fixed me and I was able to give her a decent bath before I handed her over. I only washed and chamois'd it and that paint come straight back to full gleaming life. Couldnt believe it... all that time i used to spend meticulasly detailing it every week without fail.... Probably more to do with the fact it hardly ever saw the sun.

The thing ill miss most apart from power/looks/prestige.... Is that big sunroof. And the 6 stacker macintosh. Why are all new cars back to single disc including Libs? New car plays direct off my phone using bluetooth... yay no cables.

I'll keep in touch, with any Spotted's of nice libs I see.

A guy I know from the cricket club works for AHG used to have a Pearl White '08 TB STI wagon.

It was such a shame it got nailed in the hail storm 2 years ago. He traded it on a Gen 5 GT

Dent removed from the guard, on the lot at Park Ford used cars Albany Hwy Bently. $39,999 is what they told me they had on it which leaves them very little profit from what i got for it. It currently has a not ready for sale notice on the dash, just needs a proper detail but it looks pretty good as is, still a few bugs stuck on the lower half of the bumper but 21,000km she's a good'n. Low km manual 08 t/b STi wagon...

Ian, that's my friend Kris Royle (or Matthews - as I knew him as...), he's the team leader at Myer Galleria in the TV hi-fi section. Tell him I sent ya, he'll 'love' it, sense the sarcasm there? Hahaha!

I used to work with him back in the day. He did mention the last time I saw him that he had plans for the car.

Hahah! Nah, I just haven't spoken to him for a while, I don't go to Galleria too often, if at all. No, I don't think he knows about us, last time I saw him, I think I just bought my Lib.
