Options for rubber floor mats

Rain + kids = mud and crud on the still new factory carpets :!:

Looking some rubber mats for the MY09 GenIV wagon.

Aside from the generic stuff from the likes of Auto Barn, etc....are there any good rubber mat sets out there?

Or

Genuine Subaru - cost around $180-220 I guess

Or try some generic super cheap ones.. Never going to fit properly

I think genuine new Subaru mats are only around the $160 mark and you can just walk into Docklands service/parts department and buy them. So, if it were me, I'd just buy a spare set and keep them for when you want the car to look it's best and keep the other set for the kids.

Alternatively, just buy cheap rubber mats from Autobarn and lay them in the back over the top of the OEM ones and remove them when necessary. If your aim is to have the car looking good, then it wouldn't be dirty anyway, so it doesn't matter which inferior mats are used to protect the good ones, as no one will see them.
[Hope that makes sense].
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!
