From my experience with my Gen 2 it could be a faulty oxygen sensor. I'd that's not it I have no idea sorry. My engine light turns on all the time, no biggie.

Nice :)

Just put some electrical tape over the engine light. No light, no problem :D

There should be way to read the code. On Gen4 there is a cable you connect to read the code from a flashing Cel light. Have a snoop on http://www.nasioc.com/.

From 91 on subarus had diagnostic cables. Take it to a workshop and get the code checked. Could be air flow meter.

hahah my friend i can tell u all about the engine light, my 09 libs has had it come on alot, from just simple oil issues to complete bottom end failure, recently had a engine waring light, got the mechanic near my work to look at it, and it was a catalitic convertor issue, funny enough took the cat off when i sent it to suby service was full of shit and making the car choke, which i told them 3 services ago to look at, ill suggest finding some one who can look at your error codes as suby wont tell u the issue.
