Hi all,

Just thought I would start this thread as a general thread for powder coated or painted wheels. If you have ever gotten your wheels powder coated or painted can you please post pictures? And where you got them done, or if you did it yourself?

Might help people make their minds up as to whether they get their wheels powder coated, painted or leave them as is, as well as where they can get it done. There seems to be a new thread about this once every couple of weeks!

Would be a good thread for people with damaged or gutter rashed rims too

Totally comes down to who does it.

The powdercoater I used was a wheel specialist and it was like 2 pac with the powder applied by an airbrush gun. He got sick and shut up shop.

The painters I use now do awesome work, and all in all, I prefer their 2 pac, but it is more exy than the powdercoater I used to use.

Ive seen shit jobs on both finishes from others that made me cringe.....

Can the shadow chrome colour be powder coated on or can it only be painted?

Afaik, its a paint finish only.
