2012 Track Day - Friday 14th September UPDATED pg31

It's not the fact that my car is slow or NA, I just don't want to track it. Can't justify thrashing it for a day

You get to see what your cars limits are! You don't need to thrash it on the track to have a good time!

+1 the amount i learnt about my car from my first track day was unparalled...how the rear end acts under heavy braking, and why not to turn at the same time  , all about the notorious subaru understeer, limits of grip on my tyres and the gradual loss of traction etcc

plus theres no rule that says your car will be destroyed after tracking it. sure theres an inherent risk, but my gearbox could also grenade on itself tomorrow for all i know

rome please PM me your details for deposit :)

Leo just pointed out an important warning on the MDTC website:

MDTC has installed a state of the art noise monitor and recording system to ensure that our participants cars are kept under the 90db limit.

So unfortunately this will mean certain people won't be able to come...

(will mainly affect people with external wastegates...)

Well I doubt anyone who's coming would have an exhaust louder than Leo's, it's pretty loud. It would mainly be an external wastegate that would be a problem, as Leo's would be LOUD!!!

Not Friday, Saturday or Sunday, they are completely booked out. Mid week bookings wouldn't work for most people hence the need for a Friday
