what front grill would you get?

Postby nickoboi » Tue May 08, 2012 9:22 pm

hey, i cant decide what grill is a better deal between these, one is $100 cheaper and doesnt have postage and handling but do you reckon its just as good as the one from ultrex performance?

Opinions would be great :)

this is the cheaper one:

this is more but could be better quality?

I wouldn't get either. Carbon isn't my thing. Though they look pretty much the same. Some guys here would have had the Ultrex version, don't know about the other one though.

Corazon is the only aftermarket option I would buy due to the fit and finish.

Colorcoded > Carbon fibre anyday of the week.

Or modify your oem one.....

your wallet will not thank you for asking that question here.....

Go to this site to find the bits then contact Phat GT on forumparts@gmail.com :

This should take care of any spare cash you have at present

Good luck.

Check out my profile in the post your mods area to see what happens when you look at that website.......

you will pay too much unless you follow my tip, get in touch with Phat GT at the forumparts@gmail.com email address.

All goods can take a while to come from Japan, just saying so you know.....

There are also other brands like mature that are not on Japanparts too.

What's wrong with the zerosports one? I prefer the mesh used on the zerosports one, can't see through it as easily. Plus the badge looks 100x better than the corazon badge

Nothing wrong, just forgot about it.

You get what you pay for in terms of fit and finish quality.

JDM brand name items are the go.

+1

EDIT: also +1 to colour coded parts, especially getting them colour coded in Japan (cost me an extra $15-20 for my eyelids, try asking a shop here to paint them for you for that price!)

That's a link to the zerosports grille for your model, I would suggest that if it is something that you like and are willing to pay for that you email PHAT GT: forumparts@gmail.com as he could probably get you the best price.

EDIT: I can't seem to find a link for the corazon grille, Mark do you mind doing the honours if you know where one is sold?
