Satnav kaput after ECU reset.

Reset my ECU to clear a CEL, didn't work and killed my satnav.
I get the attached error with both of the two burnt discs i have.

I guess i may need to track down a legit Whereis disc?

Sounds like you need to load a legit copy of v14 maps?

Maybe someone local has one they can load for you

Hi Jake,

Sorry to hear your Sat Nav isn't looking too flash.

You would've got this due your disconnecting the battery in an attempt to clear your CEL.

Has the CEL remained clear since I did it with the Tactrix?

And yes you will need a genuine copy to restore your sat nav.

Yeah figured as much. Previous owner had a burnt copy of V15 with no sign of the original. Annoying? yes.

No more CEL, but i haven't thrown it back into S# yet. Thanks for the screen capture and link by the way. Feeling a lot more comfortable about the CEL now.
