first gen lib ej22 uel suitable for rumble in ej25?

so i read somewhere in one of the forums i frequent that the first generation ej22 libertys/legacys have uel as stock and i was thinking that because the ej22 and ej25 engines are so similar would it be possible to save hundreds of dollars by buying a uel from a first gen legacy and wacking it onto the ej25 to get the rumble? it would only cost $50 max from the wreckers. what are the potential problems?
i realise its probably not going to be equivelant to a borla system but im not exactly cashed up so at least for now less money > higher quality

it fit!!! the only thing thats wrong is the bolts for the flange dont match up quite right so ive gotta go to the exhaust shop tomorrow. also im gonna get them to take out the second muffler and install a straight pipe and then put the 2 02 sensors in the right place then job done! $250ish later i will have the rumble instead of spending $500+ on the buying, shipping and installation of borla replicas
