Under consideration but we're coming into winter so I'll wait till summer before installation. In the meantime I'll research the best solution.

Car is back at Revzone today getting the Grimmspeed AOS kit fitted to complete this set of mods.

Originally the kit delivered was boxed incorrectly and was for pre 08 WRX's.

Daniel from Carmods has sent the missing parts down and we're good to go.

Also sent me a couple of neat little gifts.

Thanks to Dan.

No thanks at this stage.

I've decided from now on to log first and check results before making changes.

When I get around to it I'll log IAT and ECT and then make a decision on the waterspray etc.

At the moment after a drive a quick LV screenshot shows IAT at 55 degrees and coolant temp at 84 degrees, hardly too hot I'd say.

Has anyone else got IAT and ECT temps running a FMIC? I'd like to see evidence of a difference under normal street driving.

Not me but im hoping too at some stage, my car was driven on some very hot days over summer and it never over heated or moved on the gauge, though the perfomance was down a lot, it did suffer heat soak if u sat at trafic ights long enough, my guess is the heat gets into the piping too the cooler and from the cooler to the throttle body, often i felt the cooler end tanks and you could feel the difference to say a cooler day, it also doesnt help having a bigger turbo either...

id like to get an egt sensor and record that though

why not use it, seeing that you already have it ?

Back in the day when I used to track my WRX, a high majority of the cars (Rex's, sklyines, EVO's) were using waterspray kits on their front mount coolers to aid with cooling.

Thanks for your concern brother gino...but since I dont track it ( maybe one day for the fun of it ) I want to part it to someone who will actually use it....it's just sitting here....

plus? cusco dont make water spray kits anymore...so this will make me some $$$$ hi bruce! ahahahaha
