Howde all!

Been a liberty owner for a couple of years now, thought it was a safer option that might keep me out of the aftermarket money-pit... unfortunately not, the itch is back so here we go!

Name: Jadyn
Ride: MY07 Liberty GT spec-b sedan
Location: Perth WA
Mod: absolutely zip at the moment, as standard as standard is
Plans: nothing mad yet, dyno tune and a new exhaust seems like a good start - see where we go from there, some minor cosmetic stuff is on the cards short-term. haven't got a lot of experience with Subaru's so some forum trawling and a few questions should hopefully point me the right way :)
Occupation: Project Development / Tech Services for a mining company
Year of birth: '87
Interest: Work-wise I'm completing a diploma in project management, plenty of opportunity to move forward there. Personally I've always loved messing with cars but had a quiet spell for the past couple of years, love snowboarding (ironic - coming from australia's driest capital) and travel.
Previous Rides:

'05 Liberty 2.5 sedan
bog standard.. wasn't fast enough hence the GT

'93 Nissan Silvia
SR20DET notchtop conversion
6spd box
some minor susp/exhaust/chip/fmic mods - just the usual stuff

'89 Nissan 300ZX 2+2
NA to TT conv.
well over 35k spend on the engine/drivetrain and interior - by far the most fun and most expensive-to-keep car i've ever had haha :p i do miss it though

90's VP commodore
minor stuff - this was my bus while the ZX was in and out (mostly in) of the shop

VK Calais
an old bomb, had a transplant and some minor exhaust work

bombed Magna
first-car.. need more be said!

anywho, looks like there's a wealth of info around here from my browse so far. i do have a quick question though, can anyone recommend a good Subaru mechanic in Perth? was using RMS for a while then went to STechnic when RMS moved south, not particularly happy there though to be honest and have been looking at JWS.. i'm going to be needing someone with a 4wd dyno and some liberty/wrx experiance pretty soon though!

muchos appreciated fellas, good to be here :D

Hey Jaydn

Welcome to the forums! You should come down and join us for the cruise tomorrow morning... :D Maybe get some inspiration for your car! haha!
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Oh and answering your question regarding a mechanic... Tony Flood Mechanical in Welshpool. http://www.floodmotorsport.com.au

My friends go to this place for their servicing. Maybe give him a go?

Welcome mate. Pictures of said car are also welcome. :D
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!
