you should be fine with getting in, most of the time when i was 17 and going to an RLS/bowling club/Golf Club i would just say to the guys on the front door "im just going to meet my parents in the bistro *point around to the bistro area*" and they would be fine with it

i never got let in anywhere! RSL's are usually the easiest though as the parents line can work. doesn't quite work when trying to get into night clubs

I heard that that problem can be solved if you possess one of these illigitimate ID's. But it's only a year till my 18th.

Why bother. Just go get trashed at someones house instead. It is way cheaper and there will be plenty of time for clubbing or whatever once you're 18.

Plus you don't have to deal with all the dickheads you run into out and about (unless of course your friends are those )
