I wasn't liking the wood grain at all haha. I tried the full black look but it was to bland. I personally think the silver makes it look a bit newer and feels classier :p

Nice, I think a piano gloss black would have been a bit more stylish though as it would blend in with the cd player etc.

I'm still in the process of learning to paint properly. Not to good at gloss yet.

Wrapped the bottom of the bumper (that looks like a lip) in carbon fiber vinyl.

It was seriously painful to do, hahaha. First thing i have actually wrapped in vinyl too, hahaha!

Put the new liberty badge on the grill.


Got the CF into the gauge cluster. Will have some shinny rings to go around the gauges soon (also hide the imperfections in my wrapping skilz)


Tomorrow morning will be rattle hunting. Getting rather irritated by the passenger side doors not closing tight.

The first Gen2 RX / GTB's had the lower section black from the factory.

I like the look of the cluster.

Yeah i saw a picture of an older RX and liked it, so did it with carbon fiber vinyl :p

Got bored again this morning and wanted more practice with the vinyl... After failing at wrapping the spoiler because i dont have skilz i wrapped the ash tray in CF


Wrapped the glove box. (bad lighting makes it look like junk)

Now that i have insurance and rego out of the way the next major thing i want to do is get the tyres for the 17's or projectors. Should complete the exterior. (until i get my hands on a GT bonnet)

Yeah they arent so big it draws attention but big enough to look good. And then i would have it for when i get a conversion.

And i prefer the Gen4 GT wheels to the Spec B ones... Only reason i got the 17's i have now is they were $250.

I sold my Gen IV stockies for $200 including rubbers. I also got my facelift Spec B wheels for $250.. Listen to Mark, he is an artist & knows what he is talking about
