Best Polish

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

I said stuff it and booked in a stage 3 as Daniel recommended it, supposidly Subaru paint has extra requirements. From there on you only need to do a stage 1 once a year.

What's the bet that it rains on this day or the day after

I bought autoglym Super Resin polish and autoglym Extra gloss protection and I have to say the results are awesome. The super resin polish worked well and then when I went out the car with the Extra gloss protection the panels came up like glass... cost me $29 for each bottle but more than happy with the result.

it was dark when I finished, but this pic hopefully shows the glossy finish

Has anyone had fifth dimension applied to the paint? If so will polishing or waxing affect this paint treatment?

its another one of the many paint protection products out there - not sure if it is any good though

polishing will affect this treatment though - polishing of any sort will be bad for any wax/sealants u have on the car

waxing won't directly affect this product, but the paint protection bunch generally don't like people waxing on top of their system as they seem to think theirs will last many many years  .....think in many instances it will void the paint protection warranty

I went to get some touch up paint made up today (damn stonechips!) and ended up buying some "Gelson T-47 polish", having used and praised Meguires products I am now a convert, the guy said it was a close call beteween this and Autoglym but he said this one would suit the red more.

I've read that it apparently dulls metallics and is hard to get results with by hand but hey, I gave a bit of sweat away doing it and was damn impressed. Nothing a little bit of elbow grease doesn't fix.

Here's some pics...

Yeah I use nothing but Autoglym products. I feel that the extra gloss protection is better than sliced bread. Not to mention that most of their products have either zero or very little silicone content
