I can provoke mine into lurchy starts. Probs bad technique...

Are you keeping all the DBW settings "stock" as regards SI drive, etc?

I have no lurchy start issues.

My SI drive settings have been changed to adjust performance via setting of boost via wastegate tables as well as performance via pedal angle to throttle angle. This is a what has been done in my case. I run a 7, 11 and 1bar settings for I, S and S# respectively.

I should just let you drive my car when I next get it back so you can make some sort of comparison.

I'll have to check for you. I was told but promptly forgot them.

Whilst I've not got any numbers I spoke to the guys today and they reckon they've achieved the brief so I'm very excited.

Will ask for the settings when I speak to the guys next.

I can't even remember if this is your first tune, but from what I've read it's an amazing transformation, not to mention the extra headroom etc provided by your mods :D :D :D

Higher boost, not as efficient a clamp and the AVO TMIC neck being too short. A neck extension, complete with barb style end is being made and welded to the on to eliminate this issue.

Bruce, while you’ve got the TMIC off, I would recommend fitting some helical to the BOV holes…….. from my experience the aluminium is too soft and it will not be long until you start to experience a boost leak.

Also I found the OEM throttle to TMIC pipe to fit and work far better than AVO one, even with my Perrin TMIC after it was slightly trimmed.
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

Thanks Tony, the guys has already helicoiled the bov holes as the felt they would have been a problem at 18psi boost. Also they are using the oem throttle to tmic hose but whilst on the dyno it popped off once and on another occasion appeared to have slipped. Hence they gone with a much better clamp, but also suggested a neck extension which I've agreed to.

sucks that they dont fit, better off making the product cheaper and people just use the stock pipes
