If you take a very close look, most of those little brownish splat marks around the gen4s are Subaru's data dots. Such a freakin mess! I've got them splattered all over my strut tops around the engine bay, plus underneath in places. When my car came over from WA it required an ID check, so I got to scrape a few off everywhere with the rego techs.

No not yet. Waiting on the BOV on Monday hopefully.

Then they're going to try and trick something up to get the AOS setup.

And finally I've asked for a couple of other bits to be adjusted.

All up hoping for a Tuesday possibly Wednesday pickup.

I just painted mine in heat proof matt black. Still looks mint. :D

I did notice that when I checked your engine bay.

I should have maybe got them to do it.

Thanks Justin, I've actually got some paint, but I can't be buggered doing it. Will take a break from looking at the engine and it's bits once I get the car back and for a change look at some cosmetic mods.

I'll drive it for a couple of months and then decide to tidy things up.

I've been neglecting the house and family a little and will need to catch up on chores and prepare for the next bub.

Quick Update.

I've abandoned trying to get the AOS to fit as after a bit of research I've discovered the kit sent by Carmods is actually incorrect and is suited to pre 08 WRX's.

I've requested the correct item sent to me ASAP and I'll return the one sent previously.

Previously I was advised the Grimmspeed AOS kit was out of stock and Dan would require a couple of weeks to get it to me so I've decided to continue with the tune and return the car to me and reschedule the AOS install.

So the car is back tonight and hopefully I'll be able to put up some results.

Very happy to date with Revzone's performance to get all the issues sorted and being kept in the loop.

Now let's hope the tune is spot on and according to my request. Should be a ripper drive.. :)

Just back from the tuner.

Car is currently being tuned with the another issue noted. The AVO TMIC hose is popping off due a combination of factors. Higher boost, not as efficient a clamp and the AVO TMIC neck being too short. A neck extension, complete with barb style end is being made and welded to the on to eliminate this issue.

The car is also going to have a bit of road tuning done tomorrow to get it spot on.

Otherwise all good and next update will be Wednesday when I pickup the car.

Hopefully with pics and graphs of the end result.

Not long now, you must be itching to get it back.

I think most of us all know the feeling of waiting on a tune. The elation comes when you get it back, but then your knocked back to reality with the bill.. hahaha

Goodluck with it all, hopefully no more issues and smooth sailing from here on in.

I am itching.

Also interested to see what they produce here as I've asked for some pretty specific requirements and corrections to be made based on data logging and Learning view output.

Also of interest is that they are going to road tune and log to ensure it's as near perfect as possible.

Should definitely be an interesting outcome and off course I'll hit you up for your expert review.

What DBW issue are you referring to as I've never noticed anything with mine. Or had any need to identify an issue to the Revzone.
