Name: Aidan
Ride: "98/99 Liberty RX 2.5L Bilstien
Location: Mundoolun QLD
Mod: Just audio at the moment, nothing too flash
Plans: Upgrade the head unit and get the correct badges (some are missing)
Occupation: Unemployed student
Year of birth: 1995 (17 this year)
Interest: I am interested in aviation and all things mechanical.
Previous Rides: Nil

The back story:

About 10 months ago to date my dad and I were looking for my first car since I was a learner and we didn't have a manual for me to learn in. We were looking around for ages and then dad remembered he knew a machanic (Dad is an auto electrician by trade) that only deals with subaru's, so we gave him a call to see if he had anything at a decent price which he did so we went around to have a look and it was perfect. Steve who we bought it off said it was a repairable write off from a knock on the rear pannel so he only charged us what it cost him, what a ledgened. When we got home I went on to google to look up my car and it turned out it was a Bilstien!

Nice first car! Welcome! :D
Is that the RX with the Momo steering wheel and wood grain dash?
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Welcome, and first of all, nice car! First time I've seen someone younger than me on here lol (I'm 17, going 18 this year). I've wanted a Bilstein edition for my first car too, especially a manual, yours looks great, I'm somewhat jealous. Any chance you went to Aviation High since you're interested in aviation?

Why thank you, to be honest my dad and I didn't actually realise it was a Bilstien until a few weeks later. I wouldn't recomend getting this model wiuth the Bilstien suspension if you live somewhere like I do, terrible roads and stiff suspension don't mix very well :P Yeah I do go to Aviation High, how did you guess? I am in my last year there right now.

Am I cursed because they will both eat up all of my money very quickly?

I know a few from Avo High, do you know K. Goode? He's also in your year level. It just seems that everyone even slightly interested in aviation goes there.

Either way for me, finding a decent Gen 2 at all here is hard enough, probably won't happen for me. I just hope I can keep my current one as my first car instead if I don't get to buy my own :D

Yeah I know him, he isn't in any of my classes though. Quite a few people who hate Aviation go there too.

If you have a look on car sales there might be a few available, I had a look to see what my car was worth and I saw about 3, non of them were all stock like mine though, I wish you luck in finding one though!

I guess I may as well post in here now that Turbo Lag told me of your thread :P. I've heard you talk about it at school before as you know, turns out it's a nice as you make it out to be. You should put up some more pictures, like from the interior and all that.
