Air Guide

Postby Jim » Sun Apr 15, 2012 9:07 am

Hey guys,

Quick question out of curiosity. I have noticed on my car i have the air guide behind the grille that feeds air to the intake collecter ( although useless as i have CAI ). Howver, i have noticed on my mates 07 GT that his car doesnt have one. His car is AT and mine is MT. Was the guide an expensive option or just a MT/AT difference?

Did you mate get his can secondhand? if so the previous owner could have 'lost' it... should come with one regardless.

You meant the triangular shape collector/guide right?

I don't think it's the triangle piece he's talking about. There is an intake guide which sits in front of it to guide more air into said triangle intake piece..

Can you get a photo and identify the part you're talking about?

Similar to the prova air guide? That is not an oem item.

bingo! If it's similar to the Prova one, it's an aftermarket peice.

Talking about the guide that feeds air to the airbox duct. Much like the Prova one.

These arent standard then?
