New owner of 07 spec b wagon.

Postby Sh4wry » Wed Apr 11, 2012 2:54 pm

Hi guys.

I'm Craig
I've been a member of the rs liberty club for some time.
Finally upgrade from my 2003 rx liberty sedan 5spd to
2007 (my08) liberty GT spec B wagon 6spd
In pearl white.

I'm originally from Newcastle but now based on Moree about 1 hour from the qld border and 6 hours inland from coffs harbour.

I bought the car from bairnsdale victoria for 27k and drove it 17 hours to Moree.

In terms of modifications,
It has a cat back xforce exhaust with quads.

Plans are:
06 tbsti rims.
08 tbsti honeycomb grill
Maybe: spec b badge, Sti front lip. MRT Ecu retune.

That's all the plans.

Took me a 6 hr train ride from Moree -Maitland. 50min flight Newcastle - Melbourne and 3.5 hour train ride from Melbourne to bairnsdale. Then there was the 17hours drive back to Moree. Took 3 days and about $600
Lol. I was determined to get it. Had been looking for ages. Wife said I could get a new car after our wedding do it took me 3 weeks and now she's mine.

17 hours in the new GT-B sounds pretty good to me lol. As for the rest of the trip... well, you definitely deserve the car.

I'd jump ship for a white GT-B wag, which given how much I like my current ride,is really saying something!!! Bring it on!

Petrol question:
I use shell 98 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
Just wondering what u fellas are paying in the cities?
I filled the tank this arvo costing me $97
At 1.68/ltr

This should last me about 2-3 weeks due to minimal driving to and. From work.
