Thanks Jackson....your car is also coming along nicely as well....keep up the good work... 8) ...hows that water to air system going btw? any major benefits?

I'm moving along to the grimmspeed as heaps more people have used it in there cars and is a 100% proven controller....With the perrin, I cant argue that it's also good but as a insurance policy I would stick to something that's totally proven :)

more info on the water to air cooler system please and or what brand are you using, pictures!!

sorry for hijack

hey fellas, i'm going to do a build project/profile soon....I haven't gotten around to it...

the WTA is awesome, I'm really glad I got it...i was a bit unsure...but I huge drop in temps were seen, in comparison to the Top Mount...

I'm full rebuild is at the start of may....pistons, rods, cams & springs, head porting.....and more with the blouch...

thanks for asking :)

Hey All,

Hope all is well with you all and things are looking up! :D

1stly.....Scott's M35 Stagea has cracked 335kw atw (23 psi) on a stock unopened motor using a FCON ECU on E85 of course on cihan's / edge dyno.....I think now he is chasing 350kw - 400kw.....his bloody crazy!.....you'll see him in the upcoming liberty dyno day....that's if he doesn't blow his motor before then.....

http://etuner.com.au/smf/index.php/topic,78.0.html?PHPSESSID=7d2c9c209d014402475b398f49144847 read the updates and dyno result towards the bottom of the page...

Another mini update for me again.....nothing special actually...As some of you know....I've decided to take my car to springy performance.....The car is booked on the 12th of April.....
The car will be in the workshop for a 1 week or 2? Depending on how everything goes with installations, fitment, fixing HP fail fark ups, outstanding issues, re tune and further unforeseen issues....

I'm hoping to get the car back way before dyno day...That way I can at least test her out and niggle out any minor changes that might be needed....

I've been told by Danny at springy that his hoping to start with 250kw atw ( safe base tune ) and take it from there? :)

Will post updates / results / pics as soon as I get them...

Cheers

At this point I need to thank some people who are on this forum who helped me recently decide, debate and advised me along my little way...

Gambit - advice / tips / suggestions
Brainy - unlocking my HP fail tune
bass_straitener - never ending debating and comparisons
Coyote - tuning / tips / advice
Kieren - even though he doesn't respond to my emails or sms lately
Clarence - being a pain

hope I haven't forgotten anyone? If I have apologies...

Exciting times Justin.

Can't wait to see how your beasty finally goes with some Springy Performance lovin.

Hopefully you're car will see it's full potential achieved and the dyno day being icing on the cake and a power spectacle.

Gotta agree that Scotty is one crazy mofo with his plans.

Can't wait to see if there are any challengers in the open class come dyno day.

Hey GB? GEEZ....don't know about 300atw....but I would be totally satisfied with a safe, reliable, daily 250kw atw on a springy dyno...

Hey Nelson? Been awhile? Thanks mate....I"ll be seeing you soon?

ha ha ha its a tough number but always good to have a goal, 250 will be a rocket ship anyway and plenty of power to scare the shit out of ya lol

Jaydece's Mini Development Project

Postby jaydece » Thu Apr 12, 2012 4:39 pm

Micro mini update: Was at springy at lunch time for like an hour chatting and talking to Daniel and Danny....Danny has suggested to thermal coat my headers set instead of wrapping it, so it's off to the baker, price wise it's only a little bit more, will look neater, better temps for the turbo, and not have to worry of wrap peeling/coming off...

In general I'm excited and nervous at the same time, hopefully no more fark ups will be found lurking....
