No, not low Kay's, I have nearly 180,000 now.
You mean his comments about intake length and afm positioning ?

Paul

Yes, intake length etc

I dunno, but taking a 180 000km old car for use at a rate of 40 000km/yr might not be a reliable plan for you anyway. Maybe you got it cheap and in that case its fine I guess but raking up big ks reliably ...........

I have more than 220,000 km so far on my 07 and I didn't replace any sensor yet :)

I forgot to mention the electrical issue that cause hesitation. If the alternator delivers unstable amperage and/or the battery, you'll get a hesitation. A not well grounded engine might have that too.

I have done 80,000 in the past 2 years, no I didn't buy it cheap, but have had multiple Subaru's with very high kays as a do a lot of highway driving, so high KM Subaru's are nothing for me, I expect to see at least 350,000 out of this one before touching it, so supercharging is definitely an option if I can find the $$$$

BD, how did you know it was the alternator ? was there a test you used to find a problem ?

By referring to the service manual :)
Check the current according to the table that I provide in the attachment.
Make sure that your battery is 75D23L not 55D23L or 65D23L. In Saudi Arabia, we got it from the dealer fitted with 55D23L which have a weak current either for starting or hard driving.

Weak current leads to lake of power to the ignition coils which in result leads to poor ignition spark. Poor ignition spark will leads to insufficient explosion of the A/F that will leads to knock and then problems with the engine.
During this time, the ECU will try to correct that by reducing the amount of fuel and a retraction of the engine performance.<== I'm not sure about this one but this is what I feel if I'm driving a BLE with a not good battery or alternator and this happened also if the weather reached more than 40 degree celsius.

And by the way, my name is Majed :D

So Tim you have found a good place for the WTA intercooler and SC heat exchangers?

Moving along with your own SC setup are you?

Very definitely

All this stuff ships out over the next 10 days, none of it is for my car, however it can only be gauranteed to fit the customer car if it fits mine!

(I'm
Have it accured in ur mind that heat extracted from those radiators will then pass to engine radiator. Won't this create
Heat stress on the engine?
For me I don't have any prblem since I already have a ccustom 3 layers raditor but I thought its worth to mention

No matter how you add an intercooling system there is always this situation. It isn't different for anyone else making intercoolers either :)

In your case the Sun is the biggest issue by far - turn it down 20 degrees C and your entire vehicle will operate MUCH better, certainly far less heat stress in every component

If you could find a place that can modify a KOYORAD Legacy GT radiator to make it fit with our H6 it'll be great.
It is just removing a plate that have the single inlet and replace it with dual inlet. There is also a small inlet in the right side of the radiator that can be used to watercool the supercharger I think

We could definitely mod that rad here, wouldnt be any problem. A specialist alloy shop and a Lib to test fit it to - too easy
