Introduce yourself

'Nother Noob...

Postby deucer » Wed Jan 23, 2008 11:38 pm

Hey Guys,
I've been lurking for a bit on this Forum and have posted a few times... Guess it would now be courteous to say G'day!

- Name's Randal... aka deucer
- Riding in a 2005 Liberty 3.0R-B Wagon 6MT and LOVIN' it! Just come back from the dark side having owned 4WD's for the last 14 years.
- Location is beautiful Perth, on the south side. I'm a Queenslander who's been over here since 2000 and can't make myself leave... We've got it far too good over here! :-D
- Mods... none.
- Planned mods include SS braided brake lines and better brake pads, sways. I need to think some more about a HKS air filter, end links for the sways and and strut braces. Car goes fast enough for me (so far)... I want to improve the handling experience first up. But a full replacement exhaust with extractors would be nice in a couple of years!
- Occupation: Working in Procurement & IT Sourcing at the mo.
- Year of birth: 9 months after the summer of LOVE!
- Previous Rides: No Subarus in the list, but the list includes a 76 Celica, 89 Pulsar Q, 94 Feroza, 90 Hilux Surf.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys a little better through various gatherings and maybe (...maybe) some track days! :D

Cheers,
Randal.

hahaha welcome to the forums.

If you're loving Perth, you should visit Melbourne. =)
I've yet to mod my car but am looking at air filters and cold air intake..

Funny you mention that kvn... Melbourne WILL be the next stop... in a few years maybe... when we can tear ourselves away from Perth! :-)

Thanks for the welcome Trieu! Yes I'll get some pics organised at some stage. BTW... I've seen your extensive collection of Liberty pics on this site and Ozliberty.com... very nice! Good work there mate! :D

Hey, I live in Canberra, work at parliament house and have seen twp politicians here in all that time. We keep trying to explain to other non-Canberrians that we only house the people you vote to come here. Kind of like a reverse big brother on a state scale.

Darwin residents = Darwinians.

For me it goes like this:

Darwinians
Brisvegans
Sydneysiders
Melbournians
Perthites

Never knew anyone who'd admit coming from Adelaide so can't comment.
