19x8 Lexus ISF style Rims

Postby Cookies » Mon Mar 26, 2012 9:47 pm

Hi Guys,

Wanted to get some opinions & advice on rims I'm looking at.

They are the Lexus ISF style rims in a 19x8 size (45 offset) as at the following link (sorry.. not sure how to attach picture!)

http://www.mswt.com.au/products_closeup ... 50%20GS300

I've got a dark grey MY07 GT-B. Standard spec B suspension right now.

Firstly, how do you think they would look? Has anyone else tried these rims? They're just for show really, as I don't do track work at all. I haven't actually seen the real IS-F rims in the flesh yet... which makes me unsure as well.

Secondly, can I just get some confirmation that these would actually fit the car without guard rolling. The post I found on the various combinations of rims & tyres seemed to suggest this. But I'm a bit gun-shy to actually go ahead and purchase!!

Cheers for any feedback/advice.

My first post after stalking the forums for a while!! ;)

I like them better than the GTB wheels.

I imagine they will work well on a dark grey car.

Having seen them in the flesh at the lexus dealership in osborne park I think they will look good.
Can you get the painted areas in a darker colour?

Thanks guys! Some positive replies. I just stumbled across them online and liked them as they're slightly more aggressive....but not over the top. In my opinion anyway!!!

So if I'm going to be the test case for these rims... I need some further confirmation/validation regarding fitment. These will be no issue to fit within the guards right?

Will need to roll the guards a bit if its sitting low-ish. What offset are stock, and what are these?

JimmyS ran 19x8 ultraleggeras on Hsd coilovers lowered no problems, pretty sure he went ridiculously low then needed to roll guards

They are 45 offset.

I have the stock spec b suspension with the bilsteins currently. But had considered putting in some phat tein springs to drop a bit. Though if that would mean rolling guards I might just leave it. Thoughts?

Thanks gents!

Scuffing with 45offset with 8 inch 19s will depend on tyre choice.
Go lower and roll them :D

Will look good.

You will probably need some camber adjusters so you can get negative camber. With negative camber, you will have no problem, but if you leave it standard, you will probably get scraping. I put 18 x 8 +43 on my car and had to get a bit of negative camber, but now I've done that there's no problem.

Not bad for a discreet 2 tone VIP style,
but depending on price/availability, I'd go for the ENKEI Racing RSM9 in 19" as seen on the Prova BRZ, and failing that the Rays Progressiv ME... :D

I called the suppliers of these rims today and asked if they are different for left side & right side of car. So that they are rotating in the same direction on both sides.

The answer was NO, which I'm a bit disappointed about. I know the real ISF rims are like that.

Bit unsure now.

How about the R1 Racing GTR-10 19 x 7.5 in the FS?

If my wheels weren't amazing I'd go for those just to correct my speedo

And Lexus drivers go nuts over these

Are Lexus PCD 100? If so I'm sure they'd be available S/H...
