Looking at buying a Liberty - Some advice please

Postby Ra » Wed Jan 23, 2008 7:56 pm

Hi All,

I'm looking at buying a Liberty. Cant be any older than a 2005 model and must be manual. Got about 30k to spend. Can you offer advice on what to look out for? Common faults etc. Also what is the fuel consumption like?

Will I be able to afford a GT spec? for 30k?

Cheers,
Ra

manual GTs might be hard to find in budget etc, but if you can find one. Fuel is around 10L/100K if you do a bit of highway and city driving (drinks the good stuff though so don't forget that).

Seems the most common thing to go is the front O2 sensor can run a fair bit if not done under warranty...
