My car looks black in those pics as it stands out less than the other 2 which have a certain level of awesome to them.

Waiting for the 04-04-2011 to arrive for the car to go in for a few more parts to be installed and a retune.

In the meantime I've not done too much as work has also been pretty busy.

Recently a friend mentioned how the Libs front needed could do with improvement as the front bar has a vertical support piece which really interferes with the horizontal plane. I had a look and decided he did have a point and looked at my options to see if I can get a better look here. Not sure if anyone else has done this cosmetic mod but I reckon it really works to improve the looks on lighter coloured cars.

Decided I'd experiment with wrapping it to see how I like it, and if I do, I'll either paint it out or have it professionally wrapped. I contacted a few places for wrap and found the guys at this place really helpful. They even gave me a A4 sheet to experiment with as well as instruction on how to work it. The colour I've used here is a called super matt black. They do a satin black as well.

After a visit to their showroom I'm thinking of wrapping the grill, roof and rear lip spoiler to individualise the car.

I know people will jump about with this but.... just cut it out? i know it will mean the front bumber will lose some strength. Phat does on his FMIC installs. he also cuts 2" off that bottom piece so the FMIC can sit as far forwards as possible.

I do very much like the front bumper without that ugly piece of plastic though .

How would you go about the roof though? I've seen it on cars with the rails and they wrap in between the two rails and it looks good. But ours just come down to the door frames so you'd have to have an edge somewhere...

Sorry Ain I didn't ask about a price. A did ask for a whole car and that was $4000ish. When I was looking around I got quotes of about $300 for a bonnet or roof to give you some idea. You could also buy the wrap and it yourself as an option.

I looked at the eBay stuff and it was a very cheap, thick contact looking stuff.

These guys use a French made film and it becomes soft with a little heat and fits like its been vacuum sealed on. I guess it's all price point.

I also went to them as they're close to work, came recommended and do most of the high end cars in Melbourne. Also they offer a warranty on both the product 7 years, and installation.

With regards the roof. I've reckon I'd look to them for a solution. They do it daily and it's their experience and skill I'll be paying for here.

I guess Taylor each to their own. I reckon though if you cut it out you will need to spend even more money than the wrap, as it would need to be sprayed in that area and filled or you'll have a notched out bit where it sits presently.

I guess I don't want to lose any strength in that area either.
