At least you will have something cool with boost / whatever gauges you want and it will only be a couple hundred more.
But honestly if you considering spending $100 on some POS Repco thing you may as well get something semi-worthwhile like an ECU Datascanner which will provide you full time usage instead of spending $100 on a tool that only lets you clear codes, the ECU Data scanner functions as an ECU read out with gauges, also a GPS, and it can read and clear codes. for $215 extra that's a good deal.

Right you are, have been considering that one, but I'm spending money elsewhere at the moment, so every penny counts.
I just think it would be cheaper to get one of these little diagnostic tools than get subaru to clear the code for you...

Good plug for a brilliant group buy though (Simon & Julz...?)

Josh. With minor codes you can "clear" them with an ECU reset. Disconnect the battery for 10 mins and pump the brake a few times to reset.
Just saved you $100.

Good point, but you dont really know if its a 'minor code' though until you have checked

If it keeps coming back, it's not a minor code.

So yeah you kind of do know....

no flashing cruise light or CEL light permanently on.

although i did find out i was running too lean because of my exhaust.

Running too lean more likely due to that CAI you put in.

Wider pipe and different air flow your MAF doesn't know what it's doing.

Running too lean is very bad for your car.

oh, thanks Bruce :)
that makes more sense as to why its running lean.

Hopefully this tune soon can work something out, and get it running normal again

Too lean by what metric, and by who's opinion?

If you *are* running *too* lean, that can be dangerous. Leaner than stock is not necessarily a bad thing though, because cars generally run rich stock (to protect the engine from bad fuel, bad servicing, etc).

Gday guys. Ive also had the same issue recently. It has been putting out code P0011. Ive had it reset a couple of times now, but now i also have a new issue of the car running super rich and blowing a ridiculous amount of smoke. The smoke usually starts after the car has been sitting idling, say at the lights. It doesn't blow smoke every journey but when it does its pretty embarrassing. My mechanic isn't exactly sure what it is but thinks the turbo seals may be gone. Any ideas? Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere.

When was the last time you changed your oil?

There's also a good read on legacy gt about the fix for this issue.

Here it is.

The oil was replaced approx 3 weeks before all the smoke started. Running 5W30 in it. Any recommendations on brands? I've been told that I should only use Subaru oil.
Cheers for the link, I'll jump on it now and check it out.
