Lol. Thought everyone knew what gravels are already. Can't justify the extra on the enkie's for only a 1kg saving per wheel, when the gravels are already 10.9 kg each.

Dynamatt pics will be up when I finish it. Takes a little longer than I had allowed for today.

Haha 6/7 degrees on the front isn't enough already??? Feels crazy to drive through the hills. Didn't even notice the rear until today. Needs wider wheels and 245 tread.

I'll be keen to see how you go with the 245 wide rubber. I know there's heaps of clearance on the inside for it, but on an 8.5" rim, it is going to rub the rear guard and stick out a bit on the front with the only rub risk being lowering.

I tested this just yesterday with a mate's 8.5" wide Gravels with 245/45/18 rubber (yes, granted it's a bit bigger than 245/40/18) and it makes me think that the realistic width limit without flaring the guards would have to be 235 so it can tuck in a little.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

Looks like I might be getting my guards flared. Was considering the damd front fenders. They allow a 20mm extra clearance on the out side. I am already rolling the guards.

Ideas on how much it cost to get two guards flared?

I got both my rears rolled for $60 each, which is a little more expensive than some places, but he was a mobile service - he came to me. :) He also does flaring, but I don't know what he charges, presumably only a little more than rolling.

Anyway, in your case it's beside the point - he's in Sydney, but there must be something similar down your way.

6-7 degrees?

Dude with 5.4 degrees on prodrive GR sti control arms, I was extending braking distances a dangerous amount. Back to 1.5 degrees and tyre temps are down, handling unchanged, tramlining reduced, and braking so much better. And thats with proper shocks and R comps. Not Bouncy Chit.
