Is it possible to obtain a WRX sounding exhaust?

I have purchased the Invidia Cat Back Exhaust System with quad tip mufflers from this forum which will be installed this weekend.

Now the question is, I am looking at getting the X-Force Dump Pipe (have been told it is the same as the WRX ones, can anyone confirm) and also would this be the whole exhaust system done? or is there anything else I will need to have changed apart from headers?

Our dump pipe is not the same as a wrx at all. Who ever told you that is wrong

u can get the XFORCE GRB Down pipe which is the same as a liberty. or u can get the invidia down pipe that will also fit and just get a STI Steering knuckle to clear it.. the invidia has a nice bell mouth.. no welds , and cast stainless.. wont be much more hten the invidia

Same as the liberty maybe the 07-09's but not the 04-06 twinscroll

Actually, the down-pipe for 2004-2009 Liberty GT is the same as WRX latest model down-pipe.
SUBARU WRX 2009 Sedan Mild Steel Dump pipe (EM-SW08-FSC)
SUBARU WRX 2009 Sedan Stainless Steel Dump pipe (ES-SW08-FSC)

Can anyone confirm this?

And which downpipe would suit the Liberty with direct fitment (without changing the steering knuckle etc)?

Lol another croc of poo poo from X-Force. I called up their retailer here in SA back last year (not the X-Force vendor on this forum, who's actually a good bloke) , they told me that X-Force don't make an exhaust system for the Libs. This surprised me seeing as it was listed on their website with pictures and all.

I asked Taylor from this forum who deals with x-force parts and he informed me "X force wrx 08 dump pipe is what you want". So I am guessing that x-force were right.

Does the X-Force Dump Pipe (or any other brand) go straight to the cat back system or it only goes upto the midpipe?

So one downpipe fits pre facelift and facelift 2004-2009 liberty's and the latest wrx. What a load of horse shit from Xforce. Goodluck with getting it to fit and be suitable, let us know how you go.

That is not an easy task and will cost a bit.
Why would you not buy a DP that is designed to directly bolt on instead?

PHAT GT can make dump pipes for the auto prefacelift. and i think places like avo and hks might also.

That's why I have asked on this forum, what brands DO make a direct fit for the automatic pre-facelift Liberty?

I know PHAT GT does them, but want to find out other options also.
