Hey buddy, was looking at why the parker wasnt working and noticed the socket was a little burnt...

Anybody else had this problem or seen this ? At what point is this going to be a fire risk or is this considered ok ?

I had that problem too, socket was burnt but the LED was burnt and melted a bit... I remember a smokey smell midway thru a 5 hours drive. Haven't had any issues with the replacement Leo sent (but that said I haven't been home much to drive the car - will make a note to check when I'm home next time).

Cheers Leo, I'm cool with installing them, just not really too keen on setting fire to my car! hehe

Got this and installed, sufficient for me to use during the day to be more visible to on-coming traffic. Thanks Leo.

Just a quick shout out to say that Leo's lights and installation service is excellent - very happy overall but now I need to get used to just how bright the interior of the car is.

I got Leo to do:
HID: low beam (5000K); fog (yellow 3000K)
LED: parking; number plate; map lights; dome; wagon cargo and reverse (7W of cree awesomeness).

Am now tempted to do high beam (as I occasionally drive in the country) as well as maybe the brakes cluster too.

Thanks again Leo.

*** NEW ***

Since people always asked me for brighter LED and i want to supply good quality product ...

so now i've replace the most popular 9SMD LED parker with new Samsung 9SMD LED.

these SMD LED are Samsung LED, much better quality and produce more light and my supplier tells me much less faulty rate (what i like to hear).

Any chance you've come across some similar LEDs that don't have the yellow circles on them?
I've installed some 9smd ones that are the same layout as the ones above but I can see the yellow come through the front of the headlight a little when they're off (I'm fussy I know).

Thanks. I remember I tried some in my old car, found they would flicker and die pretty quickly, although I did cheap out with eBay ones :P
Worst case I could always just colour the end led in black...

Hi hks180,

The 9SMD LED parkers you sent me are going well, but I think I'd like something a touch more yellow if you've got something? The brightness level is good, but they're just a touch too white/blue for my H7 Rallye's.

Any suggestions?
