Tim shall I suggest you start a list of interested buyers to gauge an idea of how many need to be produced.

Doyab

When I am all sorted I will make an arrangement that allows anyone who wants to purchase a set to notify me and make a payment, I do have around 5 orders from quite some time ago to fill but thats no issue

The manufacturing will not be limited, while there are orders headers will be produced. I am reasonably unlikely to stock the items except for maybe over the next few months, after that they will be produced on order, I would expect we can still post them within 4 days of an order being placed.

When there is no more demand there will be no more made and vice versa.

I am suppose this question has been answered many times but I am gonna ask anyway. Will there be any power gains from the extractor that you are manufacturing?

If the vehicle is fitted with highflow catalytic converters as well - then yes. The stock manifolds are pretty ordinary but the cats are worse still

We did find 3-5Kw gains even with stock cats and stock exhaust, however there will be more testing over time to find if there is anything more to be gained

Today we (family) did a road trip of around 140kms, came up with 7.4 liters per 100km (38mpg) which is my best ever fuel economy, however there have been 2 changes - the headers/extractors and the adding of Xado oil additives to engine and trans. To which item do I allocate the economy gains??

Ultimately I will not be advertising power or fuel economy gains, I will talk about the findings on our vehicle and if that transpires into same for your particular machine - then great. The headers can never be a worse design than the stock piece!

To be certain, the headers will be only going out to customers when I am fully pleased with them. I am currently filling in a torque loss around 3500rpm by reducing pipe sizes and managing the collector size down to something more in line with the flow capacity of the engine.

Tim,

You are putting in a great effort and persons much understand the R&D cost and time things like these need. It is not as easy as tuning and produce waste.

I am looking forward to really seeing you fill in some areas highlighted in the engine curve.

Question, can you make a variable system on the tubes to quickly see results?

Can you also match cylinders easily or there is no clearance for that?

Today I have been advised that the sexy new collector piece is costing $83 extra to have it made - the price of perfection!

Our next set should be ready tomorrow

tim, with the extractors, are you just making a "universal" set so to speak, or a set specifically for NA and a set specifically for the SC?
