I have got done Xforce DP with HiFlow ceramic CAT+ Center & Y pipe mated to Hi-Tech Mufflers. It is absoultely awesome (sound & performance), sounds very close to Rexy (a little bit louder for my taste). I was thinking to put my stock STi mufflers back on to make it a bit quieter, but all my mates said "It is sounds incredible, keep for a while", gained plenty of power and torque straight away. car is not running limp but CEL is solid, Crusie and "S" mode are flashing. Well I'm getting a tune soon. Can't wait.......... :D

But, the only thing that annoys me now is the bad smell of the fumes coming out, I don't know if its bcoz of the new system.

Yes it is. Your car is probably running too lean or too rich.

bad smell will be from the oils and welding joints and all the new piping mixing with the heat going through. it'll eventually burn itself away.

Here is a clip of my exhaust for those wishing to hear the STI mufflers with an AVO dump pipe and AVO 3 inch mid section with 2.5 inch Y piece.

Cheers

Could just be my opinion, but it sounds like you have an exhaust leak. Could also explain your exhaust being smelly.

That sounds unreal! Wasn't expecting such a mean sound to come from the stock STI quads.

What's it like in the cabin? No droning at all?

Trust me Luke they sound beautiful, very nice throatier boxer notes, inside cabin is very quiet just like as stock, zero drone while cruising. Hitechs are very loud and easy to get booked/defected. If you are somewhere around in Canberra I should be able to drive down to your place (or wherever you want to meet) so that you can listen to them very closer. All the best.

Cheers

It is your Xforce DP and centre pipe that are loud, not the Hitechs.
