Ultimate wheel & tyre size comparer

Postby Andy » Tue Mar 06, 2012 8:08 am

I just came across this awesome calculator that shows you exactly how new size/width/offsets will compare to your current wheels. A must see for anyone looking for new wheels or any noobs wanting to learn what all the numbers mean.

Yeah, there is heaps of useful info around if you look for it.

I like the 1010tires ones like http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp & http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

There is also masses of info at http://www.tirerack.com/about/techcenter.jsp

The rimsntires.com calculator is what I use too. Much better than many of the other offerings out there. The table below the app provides some useful info tidbits from your data too.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

If I was to guess I'd say Andy might work for rimsntires. Good info though.

Lol. I thought my post sounded suspicious too when I re-read it. I was just a bit too excited when I finally figured out for myself which wheel widths and offsets could take the OEM Bridgestones.
Still hasn't got me any closer to knowing which wheels I want though.

You might need to spend a few hours trawling through the wheels and tyres thread then. Took me awhile, but I eventually settled for 18x8.5 Rota Gravels in Hyper Black with some blingy STi wheel caps from eBay. :)

Hopefully going on the car tomorrow once I get the rubber!

Nice choice :)
Yes, I've spent countless hours checking out everyone's photos and done a few photoshop options. Hyper black or gunmetal spokey wheels are definitely top of the list and wife-approved at the moment.
