BTW, the PS pump is pretty good with only 1mm end play. Others have indicated 3mm plus and still no issues.

Homeaway

With water to air units normally the boost loss is barely measurable, so far I havent had measureable boost losses with WTA units.

For you guys in the UAE I am going to play it safe and keep your boost a fraction lower than elsewhere, it is such a ridiculously hot climate that it pays to be cafeful unless you have a supply of spare engines to experiment with

For those in more moderate climates the boost will be up another 1.5psi. Our friend in Germany could take a full 2psi extra and I wouldnt stress at all, heat management is the secret to everything. When your enviroment is frozen nearly half the year you can do amazing things when tuning

Did a lap of the estate and no belt squeak at the moment. I will wait a week before I claim the new belt has fixed it. Thanks for the support from Tim and 3rspecb during my period of frustration, and to HPF who gave me some quick instructions on how to change the belt, and to Tim's installation drawing for showing me how to put it back on properly the 2nd time (1st time, I had about 15cm of slack, doh!)

well done..

I have just finished configuration the supercharger for the clutched type pulley

This is a great development for those wanting to run the higher boost levels once intercooled

There is a saying "from Russia with Love!"

Well we have a higher boost (9psi) non intercooled supercharger system going into the frozen place called Vladivostok, we send it with all our love

I am ok with that as the ambient temps are far below anything we get here for most of the year. They are organising their own tuning and unless they fail they should have a good outcome, otherwise I am sure XTR will be called on

Another H6 getting Raptor boost

Postby Tradewind » Sun Mar 04, 2012 7:36 am

From our dealer (chargertech) in Holland - He has installed this at Eindhoven

Here are a couple of pictures of another Raptor boosted H6 engine. This is 3.4 liter capacity and the first Porsche H6 engine with Raptor Supercharger.

The Porsche 996 is a great candidate for some positive intake pressure

See attached images - has a Raptor V-LLC (light weight - Liquid cooled)

Results, videos etc sometime after the 12th

Do you had some new ideas or maybe the final version for the H6 WTA-version?

Ing

At end of next week I manufacture the 2 x WTA kits - they will be different to my first images, it will be as suggested by our other customer from UAE. As I mentioned earlier, the first time you will see this will be on your own vehicle as it certainly will only fit the Left Hand Drive vehicles.

A suprise for you :)

No suprises as such, its just you will be recieving true LHD intercooler kits which make use of the extra space so the 180 degree silicon piece isnt needed

Its been quite a wait getting all the items in stock but we should have everything Monday or Tueday latest.

Hi Tim, I have been following this post for a while and was hoping you could answer a couple of questions.

How does the SC kit go with ADR's ?, you mentioned in a previous post from last year that you insure with Shannons, I do also, and they are happy to cover mods which are approved and engineered, being that a SC increases output power which in turn could mean an engineers certificate, have you had this problem and if so what was the result ?

The EZ30R's have a tendency to hesitate around 1500RPM on acceleration, westminst has been tuning my car for a while now for improved drive-ability and I'm holding him up at the moment (another story), but this hesitation seems to be common as I've seen it on other cars a few times now. Does running the SC kit help with this hesitation at all ? or perhaps others who have fitted the kit already may be able to answer that ?

When I bought my car I did a full service on it, injector clean, MAF sensor clean and a hard drive then dynoed it, the result on a non-tuning dyno (read no need for high readings) was 129.8kw ATW, so I have a good benchmark to work from. Since then I have added an XFORCE exhaust system which was a good addition, however retaining the centre muffler is a must to keep back-pressure and torque in check.

Thanks
Paul
