Difference between "King Springs" and "Tein" springs

im drunk and kings springs are yellow. I like yellow.

I leaning towards the King Springs as I am going to be driving on Australian roads and kings springs are built for aussie roads. The tein springs i think would be the best for track work etc but I'm not driving on the track 99.9% of the time if at all.

All the posts are good and have their point but also they are just springs if I was talking tyres or shocks than yes you really really do pay for what you get.

Yeah haven't changed that, I wanted to originally but found out anymore than 30mm on these libs and it ruins the ride, the handling and makes the car unbearable.

After everything, I had decided to go with the Tein springs and on the way to dropping my car off I stopped off to get a coffee at my local cafe, came out and someone did a hit and run in the car park , Now im looking at just over $2k worth of damage so either pay it or go through insurance which my excess is $650, so either way dont have the cash now for the springs, they will have to wait

that's unlucky man I saw your picture on the Facebook page, not happy! a little set back, just a question why did you end up changing your mind in reference to wanting the s-techs over kings?

Kiks - interesting info you post there about corner weight being out 7% with you at 84kg - if you have the spec sheet do you mind pm'ing?

My gen 4 was previously riding on king springs when i bought it - dropped 30mm.

The ride was harsh and turn in was shit, but that was mostly due to worn LCA bushes. Other than that i felt it was probably too low for a car of this nature

I changed these to billies with eibach 1" lowered all around - looking at the quality of the eibach spring next to the king shows more consideration to ride with the eibach - ie higher coil density at the top and bottom of the spring compared to the king spring.

The ride in these is awesome - handling is fantastic when combined with my swaybars, and i wouldnt go any lower for the life of me

PS - the eibach's came with the parts car i bought otherwise i probably wouldnt have forked out the 800 odd dollars on them
